When Dickies Workwear asked DeepBlueSky to oversee the re-design and launch of their flagship catalogue website we were only too pleased to help.
The Brief
Dickies clothing is hardwearing, functional, and great value making it the preferred choice of thousands of professionals worldwide. Over time it became clear that their previous website no longer reflected their brand or the wide range and quality of the products they offer.
The primary focus for the new website was to allow users to:
- Browse Dickies products by collection or type intuitively and quickly OR
- Easily locate a product by name or product code
The finished site also needed to:
- Work in tandem with Dickies offline marketing and catalogue AND
- Stay within corporate branding guidelinesWhat we produced
What We Delivered
Deep Blue Sky produced a website that met and exceeded Dickies requirements. The site features:
- A solid and scaleable architecture built on our Spirit Framework platform allowing future eCommerce functionality and any required systems integration
- A strong design which conforms to all brand guidelines and creates an intuitive user experience
- A clear, well structured and useable navigation between product ranges
- A seamless integration of lifestyle imagery to enhance the user’s visual experience and further support the brand guidelines
- A fully functional site search which accepts codes derived from the Dickies Printed Catalogue further reinforcing the link between online and offline media.
We have continued to work with Dickies management, operations and technical teams to introduce further functionality and integrate the website into their logistics, sales, CRM and business development strategies.
