It never rains... but indoors?
The British monsoon season is causing a few problems here in Bath...
Systems Affected: Bath Office; Development Environments.
One of the disadvantages of running an office in a grade I listed building is; they're not always as water-tight as one may expect.
At 17:30hrs on Wednesday 15th of August ( yes, August ) it began raining in our Bath office.
As a consequence we have been forced to power down the entire office.
We have now ( 2000hrs ) been assured by the building and roofing contractors that the issue is resolved. As a precautionary measure and due to a severe weather warning which is still in force in the area we have taken the decision to leave the office powered down for the time being.
We expect to be back up and running by 0930hrs tomorrow, Thursday 16th August.
We would like to assure all our customers that this, in no way whatsoever, affects any live services. Furthermore, all phone lines have been routed to the appropriate personnel for the duration of the outage.
